和菓子- 蕨餅的製造 Making Japanese dessert- Warabi mochi わらび餅の作る

蕨餅是日本的甜點,口感有點像台灣的涼圓,做法是把澱粉和水混在一起,然後在爐子上快速攪拌加熱煮熟成團,然後立即把它放到冰水冰鎮成形就可以變成像涼圓了,然後再配上黃豆粉和黑糖蜜冰冰涼涼的使用,非常適合夏天,口感些微脆又Q,超好吃的!

Warabi mochi is a Japanese traditional dessert! The texture is kind of chewy! The way to make it is to mix the starch pack with water. Then stir quickly while heating on a stove until forming into a dough. While the dough is still warm, scooping it with a spoon into a little ball and drop in the iced water. The little balls will turn into clear color and become more chewy. Take out the little ball shaped Warabi mochi out of water. Then drizzle with morales or liquid brown sugar syrup and cooked soybeans powder!

二月份的時候去拜訪加州的朋友,順便去了日式超商補貨,後來買了一包做和菓子蕨餅的粉,今天在家派上用場了!因為新冠肺炎的邀請,孩子已經在家兩個禮拜沒有去上學,所以動手一起做一些小點心打發時間!

Back in February, I had a chance to visit friends in California. Then we went grocery shopping at a Japanese supermarket. So I bought the Warabi Mochi powder set. After quarantined at home for two weeks, this was perfect for a DIY project with the kids.

這個點心真的方便製作又好吃,我家孩子從來沒有去日本吃過這個點心,所以覺得非常很新奇,製作過程很療癒,看到一坨一坨透明的蕨餅,整個驚呼連連!

This dessert was really easy to make. My kids have never seen this before, so they were so excited to see how the dough formed into little clear balls looking mochi.

做好馬上拿一份給在家工作的爸爸試吃看看,結果大受好評喔!👍🥳

After making the dessert, kids brought one plate to daddy who has been working from home. Daddy loved it too!
