雪Q餅 Marshmallows biscuits

年節將近,看到台灣大家都很認真的在辦年貨,也有很多人在自己手工做點心送給親朋好友,想說來跟風一下,來分給鄰居,這種對美國人的口味應該比較可以接受!

Chinese new year is coming up and I have been seeing people preparing for Chinese new year in Taiwan. Many people are making these marshmallow biscuits to give away as gifts. So I decided to make some with kids.

這個真的超適合孩子動手做,20分鐘就可以搞定,而且也不用烤箱烤。

This is perfect treats to make with kids. These can be done in 20 minutes and no baking is needed. Just a nonstick pot can do the trick… no oven needed!

食材:

  • 帶有鹹味的餅乾(奇福餅、蘇打餅、消化餅都可以)200 克 (約四條奇福餅乾)
  • 棉花糖 150克
  • 奶油 50克
  • 奶粉 50克 (美國的雀巢奶粉味道比較跟我們在台灣的奶粉相近)
  • 蔓越莓 100克 (也可以換成葡萄乾或是其他別種的果乾)也可以加堅果
  • 烘焙紙跟烤盤(整雪Q餅形用)
  • 巧克力粉(可省略)

Ingredients:

  • Ritz crackers 200 g (or any of the savory crackers) I used about 2 sleeves of the Ritz crackers
  • marshmallows 150 g
  • butter 50 g ( about half quarter of stick)
  • milk powder 50 g ( Nestle Nido is perfect for the flavor)
  • dried cranberries 100 g ( raisins or any kind of dried fruits or nuts)
  • Parchment paper and baking sheet ( in order to shape the biscuits right after)
  • Cocoa powder (optional)

做法:

  • 把餅乾稍微折半、棉花糖剪成小塊備用
  • 拿一個不沾鍋,開小火把奶油融化
  • 加入棉花糖攪拌到溶解
  • 溶解以後放入奶粉攪拌均勻
  • 再放進蔓越莓攪拌
  • 最後放入餅乾全部攪拌均勻後
  • 哪一個烘焙紙放在烤盤上整形
  • 冷卻以後切成想要的大小,可以撒上一些巧克力粉
  • 如果要送人的話就可以包裝起來囉!

How to:

  • Break the Ritz crackers into half in a bowl. Cut marshmallows into little pieces in a bowl and set aside.
  • Bring a nonstick pot two stove with low heat and melt butter.
  • Add in the marshmallows to stir and melt
  • then add in the milk powder and mix well
  • and then I in the cranberries and stir well together
  • last, add in the Ritz crackers and mix everything all together
  • turn off the heat then remove everything into the parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  • and then shape the biscuit flat onto the baking sheet .
  • after the biscuits are cooled cut into desire shapes .
  • if desired, you can dust some cocoa powder on top for flavor.
  • Pack them into cute wrappings as gifts.
