3/14 There is a Gateway Shopping Mall by Temple Square in Salt Lake City.  The Gateway Children Museum is at the shopping mall area.  Usually, the entrance fee to the museum is $8.5 per person, but thanks to my friend’s good resource….We found out that it was free on 3/14!  So….this group of moms decided to give kids a free day from school for their own field trip.  We drove to Sandy Trax Station to catch a Trax to down town.  It was super fun for the kids.  The trax ticket was about $4-5 round trip per person.  If you bought the group ticket, it was $13.5 for 4 people.    The trax took us all the way in front of the Gateway Shopping Mall!  Wasn’t that great?!  Talking about the Children Museum…Oh my gosh….IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO FUN for kids at all ages.  They had this water splashing area for tiny teeny toddlers.  Yeah…Keona couldn’t leave that area to other places.  Also, they had all these fun pretending area of farm, transportation, construction, home, and supermarket.  IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! I was taking pictures like crazy! ha.  They also had a science area where the kids could pretend to be the weather reporters on TV.  During lunch break, we brought our own lunch to the nearby Food Court at the mall to have our picnic time.  Pretty good with the money saving, huhn!  So, yeah…that was our day of “field trip- kids had a blast and moms were so exhausted day!”
